Alice Foltz
Accompaniment Volunteer
She became involved with CIF through her church, Wellspring United Church of Christ. In 2007 she agreed to help our congregation sponsor community meetings about immigration, when this was a controversial issue in Centreville and nearby communities. She was also a history teacher for many years, through her teaching work, she met wonderful students whose families came from around the world, and opened her eyes to their strengths as well as the barriers that they face. At Centreville Immigration Forum, she has served on the Board, and on every committee; today she is Development Committee Chair, teaches ESOL and coordinates accompaniment.
